“Judo in Schools” Elementary school Sveti Sava from Pirot

The “Judo in Schools” project was implemented in nine schools: nine in Vojvodina, two in Belgrade, and four in Central Serbia.

The privilege to be a part of this grand project was granted to the children from Sveti Sava Elementary from Pirot, who will become a part of this great undertaking.

Thanks to the Government of Serbia, competent Ministers, International Judo Federation and National Judo Federation of Serbia president Ivan Todorov, this project, which is very important for judo, was implemented. Through this activity and the introduction of judo to schools, a lot was done, not only to help children’s development but also to prevent violence in schools. For the National Judo Federation of Serbia, this is an extremely important step for expanding its base, following the example of France, where this sport became an essential part of the school program.
